I am an ordinary person, who happens to LOVE to encourage and motivate people! I have a passion to share the Love of God with people and to let them know, that God is GOOD and He has an AWESOME plan for their life! I truly desire to lead people into a closer relationship with God through music and my prayer is that the ministry we share will uplift and encourage people to be all that God created them to be.
In 1999 something happened that set my life on a new course. I lost my voice and was unable to speak and/or sing for almost a year. I was told by specialists that surgery was inevitable and that I would probably lose much of my singing ability. I did not have a peace about the surgery and sought the prayers of my church, family and friends. I was referred to another specialist and Vanderbilt Hospital. As is always the case with God, He is ever faithful. After several months of therapy, prayer and diligence I not only did not have to have the surgery, but my voice became stronger and better than ever! That was a pivotal place formed spiritually. I began to sense that God had yet another plan and direction for my life in some type of ministry. Then in 2000, I realized that God was calling me into music ministry.
Life has dealt me many hands and God has been faithful to see me through them all. I believe that these experiences add true depth and meaning both to the songs I write and the testimonies I share. I understand the struggles of the average family juggling work and raising a family, because I'm right there with them! I have a heart for single parents, because I at one time was one. I lover teenagers, because I've raised three boys and we still have daughter Rachel at home. My husband Rick, my daughter Rachel and I make our home in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, which is about 1 1/2 hours south of Nashville. We also have three boys who are grown now. Two of them are married and have blessed us with four wonderful grandchildren. Rachel participates with me by singing when she is with us. We pray that the message we share, the songs we sing and the lives we touch will bring Glory and Honor to our Lord, Jesus Christ.
